Applications are now open for the 5786, 5787 academic year at Yeshivas Lubavitch Tiferes Yisroel. YLTY is for bochurim who want to learn full days, who are motivated in a real and sustained way, and who are not interested in drifting, coasting, or wasting their time. This yeshiva is built for those who are ready to take responsibility for themselves and actively engage in their own learning, nigle, chassidus, and chassidishkeit in a serious and accountable way.

Our Vision

Our vision is clear. We meet the bochur where he is and take him to heights he did not know he had the potential to reach. This idea is often misunderstood. Meeting the bochur where he is does not mean lowering standards or creating a permissive environment. YLTY maintains clear expectations, structure, and accountability across learning, seder, tefillos, and conduct.

Meeting the Whole Bochur

What it does mean is meeting the whole bochur. His inner world, his emotions, and his personality. Too often, bochurim are physically and even intellectually present in yeshiva while significant parts of who they are remain disconnected from their learning and Avodas Hashem. At YLTY, we work deliberately to integrate all of it.

Structured Hashpoo and Environment

A central pillar of YLTY is structured hashpoo. Each bochur participates in consistent, serious one on one hashpoo that emphasizes self awareness, responsibility, emotional maturity, and internalized Avodas Hashem. This is reinforced through a strong farbrengen culture, immersive experiences in Eretz Yisroel, close personal relationships with Mashpiim, Shluchim, and Eltere Bochurim, and an environment that expects bochurim to think, reflect, and grow, not merely perform.

Building for the Long Term

This approach requires effort. It requires honesty. It requires time. But it builds something lasting. Our goal is not short term inspiration, but a solid foundation for lifelong learning, Yiddishkeit, and Hiskashrus.
