Transformative Education in the Heart of Eretz Yisroel

In anticipation of the upcoming academic year תשפד-ה, Yeshivas Lubavitch Tiferes Yisroel (YLTY) is unveiling some of the exceptional features that define the unique educational experience it offers dedicated and focused high achieving Bochurim. High-level Nigleh and Chassidus learning in a comfortable environment and amazing gashmius setup in Bet Shemesh.

High-Level Learning: Empowering Students to Own Their Intellectual Journey

At Yeshivas Lubavitch Tiferes Yisroel (YLTY), our commitment and unique approach extends through Nigleh, Chassidus, Halacha and unique topics in Halacha curriculum. We believe in empowering students to not only acquire knowledge but to develop depth and ownership in their learning. In our Nigleh curriculum, students engage with the traditional Mekoros (Gefes, Rishonim, Acharonim) and through reflective learning and critical thinking learn how to understand the foundational principles that frame each Sugya. In the words of Talmid Yosef Meschaninov, “One of the amazing

I gained in Nigleh is the ability to slow down and question everything. It’s very easy to accept reasoning without taking a step back and analyzing all the points. I am more focused on the details which are often taken for granted”.Similarly, in Chassidus, students are guided towards curiosity and introspection. Our goal is that by emphasizing depth and ownership in both Nigleh and Chassidus, Bochurim become independent thinkers and lifelong learners. In the words of Alumni Dovi Schwartz, “I think that I gained most in the value that I now have for learning. I think that the yeshiva really gave us the feeling that we were learning for ourselves and not just to pass tests.”

Dedicated Faculty Members

At the heart of YLTY's commitment to excellence are its incredible faculty members. With a deep passion for teaching and a dedication to nurturing both intellectual and spiritual growth in every student. Dovi reflected about the Hanholo, “I felt that I really had a support system and genuinely cared about me and what was for my best. They were open to new ideas and willing to listen to the needs of the bochrim”. Current Bochur Yosef Meschaninov put it this way, “I feel very supported and empowered to experience yeshiva in the way that’s tailored to me.”

Being Far from Home: Independence and catalyst for Personal Growth

Distance from home can be a challenge, but YLTY sees it as a unique opportunity for personal growth. Being away from familiar surroundings encourages independence, self-reliance, and the development of resilience. Our supportive community members and the amazing surrounding environment of being in Eretz Yisroel, our dedicated faculty, all together create a unique homely environment, ensuring that the distance becomes a catalyst for personal and spiritual advancement. Especially when Bochurim come on their own or with only a few friends the potential for growth is magnified. Dovi says “The yeshiva gave me the space and environment I needed to be self motivated and the necessary  tools and support. I really felt that I was responsible for myself”.

Prioritizing Individual Growth

At YLTY, we acknowledge the importance of having a Chassidisher Avir while emphasizing our commitment to the growth of each Bochur individually, both in terms of their Yiddishkeit and Chassidishkeit. Our approach is to foster a deep connection with learning while nurturing personal development. By focusing on the unique strengths and challenges (where relevant) of each Bochur, YLTY creates an environment of trust where bochurim can grow and flourish spiritually and internalize their Chassidishkeit more deeply. In Yosef’s words, “It’s very refreshing to be in a place where I am seen as an adult. At the same time that comes with a lot of responsibilities. The Yeshiva has empowered me with all the tools that I need to succeed but at the end of the day the burden falls on me as an individual to achieve the results that I expect from myself."

“The trust based system empowered me to take myself seriously and strive for the results I desire. I think that I have more clarity of my values and opinions. I have gained a sense of identity and an understanding of what it is that I truly value.”

Dovi concluded, “I gained such a deep appreciation for learning. To gain such an appreciation for learning and living yiddishkeit in yeshiva is something that can last a lifetime”.

Comfortable Physical Dormitory and Tranquil Environment in Bet Shemesh

YLTY takes pride in providing students with a comfortable living environment at its new and beautifully appointed dormitory in Bet Shemesh. Prioritizing amazing Gashmius with high quality meals and physical setup, we offer a supportive atmosphere for Bochurim to thrive academically and personally.
